WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
- Business Systems Analyst I: $53,000-$66,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.
- Business Systems Analyst II: $59,000-$76,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
- Business Systems Analyst III: $68,000-$87,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements; create and maintain process flows, current-state and future-state documentation, evaluate impacts, identify risks and dependencies, develop recommendations, and support the implementation of business and technology solutions.
- Support business processes, workflows, associate-facing applications and operational platforms through production support, reporting, issue analysis, and continuous improvement efforts that align with business objectives and associate needs.
- Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing activities for system enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance releases, ensuring business, functional, and technical requirements are met.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, vendors, technical teams, and business partners to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and ensure solutions align with business objectives and successful delivery throughout the development lifecycle.
- Apply Agile principles and business analysis best practices to manage priorities, facilitate stakeholder discussions, conduct impact and cost-benefit analyses, support training and change management activities, present recommendations to leadership, and drive informed decision-making.
- Continuously expand knowledge of business processes, systems, emerging technologies, and industry trends to support innovation, operational excellence, and ongoing business improvement.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements, evaluating processes and workflows, identifying risks, dependencies, and business impacts, and supporting testing activities including user acceptance and regression testing to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies, business systems operations, workflow analysis, testing practices, implementation processes, continuous improvement concepts, and business process optimization.
- Ability to balance business and technical considerations while managing multiple priorities, adapting to changing business needs, and delivering quality results in a timely manner.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational, facilitation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships, collaborate with stakeholders, developers, vendors, and cross-functional teams, and present recommendations and findings to leadership.
- Experience supporting associate-facing applications, internal business systems, service and operations platforms, and technology solutions that enable customer service, business processing, and operational efficiency preferred.

- Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
Employees located within 50 miles of Omaha will transition to a hybrid schedule with two in-office days per week upon the opening of Mutual of Omaha's new headquarters in 2027.
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of insurance products, the insurance industry, related legislation, and business operations procedures and practices.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Working knowledge of test and process automation.
- Experience supporting associate-facing applications, internal business systems, service and operations platforms, and technology solutions that enable customer service, business processing, workflow management, and operational efficiency.
